Smaller than it looks but pretty resilient, doesn't close easily.I've been intending to write a review for some time now - and now that I've had the bag for a while, my review will be more accurate. The backpack is aesthetically pretty, and fairly light, but like any bag used for everyday & those few extra things you would occasionally carry - the bag can become heavy. The shoulder straps are easily adjustable and durable. With as much as I sometimes have to carry - I'm happy that the straps haven't frayed from the bag itself. I have three suggestions for the manufacturer that if fixed would make this an absolute dream backpack. 1 - the magnet on the inside of the bag AND the magnet that closes the main flap of the bag need to be bigger!! The currently small magnets hold, but are sometimes difficult to clasp together. 2 - the inside pocket on the backside of the backpack needs to have Velcro or something similar added to keep it closed. I often find that when I'm trying to slip something into the bag, that one pocket hangs open and gets in the way. Last, 3 - make the back outside zipper pocket at least 1" deeper & 1" wider. I find that pocket a great place to hold my cell phone, but I have to use two hands to get my phone in there - it fits laying on its side, but with the zipper I have to angle the phone in. With that pocket being a little deeper, I could also keep my earbuds or small eye glasses case in there too - the pocket is in a perfect place, just a little too narrow.This bag is better than expected! It literally feels like butter! It is so soft, so durable and so many pockets! I had a backpack purse that I used so much over the years it finally needed to be replaced and I am so happy I found this one! I went with black but I may end up getting brown too! There was no smell at all like some reviews mention. And it holds so much which is great because I work two jobs and I’m a mom so between stuffing toys and even a wardrobe change along with wallet and makeup bag and yes books and a bottle of water,… this bag holds strong and has been more than impressive! Buy it!this bag STINKS. REAL BAD. like raw fish and not the delicious kind. more like dead fish. so bad it makes you question everything. apparently fake leather has that smell sometimes. unfortunate bc the bag itself is so cute…i decided to power through- cleaned the outside with windex, ms meyers, anything. wiped dryer sheets on the inside, left them in there overnight. NO HELP. next day i put an open box of baking soda in the bag, left it overnight. that kinda helped. sometimes when i use it i still catch a whiff of fish but it’s not so bad anymore. the more i use it the less it stinks, and the bag is truly so cute i couldn’t return it so i’m happy with it.This backpack is beautiful and exactly size I was looking for my trip, the material looks really good and shinny, It can hold a plastic folder with all my documents need it for the trip. Love that has so many pockets like eight of them, 1 back, 3 front, and 4 inside, I do like that it holds so many items that I need, my only main concern is the strong smell that it has at the beginning, I tried suavitel laundry sheets, febreeze spray, scented wipes (with baby cream and even oil on it), extra natural spray and nothing work more than left it open in a corner of my closet, is being 2 months and the smell start decreasing , what is really good as I bought for a trip that have to be reschedule for 4 more months, so it gave me the right amount of time to get that terrible smell away by itself. If you have the time and patience to wait for it that will be the most beautiful and useful backpack you will need for a comfortable travel, let's see if it last. This is the best looking, most comfortably designed one! This bag is gorgeous and well made! The "leather" is very soft to the touch. I expected a more vinyl feel, but it's quite soft, smooth, and pleasant. Amazing selection of smartly placed pockets. This is perfect for everyday/work which is exactly what I wanted. (I hate having a purse hanging on my shoulder - it always gets in the way/falls down especially shopping or when you have a long walk to juggle an umbrella/morning coffee to work in the morning). Cross-body bags just pull my neck/posture out of whack and cause pain later. But backpack purses are the smart way to go!! I bought this so my hands can be free. It's big enough to hold my lunch and daily necessities, yet doesn't look like I'm going on a mountain trek. It is the perfect size! It looks so stylish and high end, it is very classy and polished looking and comfortable to carry. All the snaps are magnetic as well. They thought of everything. I am loving this!!I got this bag because i love its design. I’ve been using this as a school bag for a month. I love the pockets and they are all convenient. I usually have 1 2 inch binder and a spiral notebook with some snacks in the main pocket. However if you plan on having a binder and something small but bulky (like a pencil case) it might open the button. It has one button for the main pocket and another on the flap to close it, also a tie. The buttons are a bit small so they don’t just clip in but you have to place it directly on. Which i don’t mind. The faux leather is durable and it hasn’t peeled or torn.Found this while looking for some kind of pack. Should look good with my renaissance faire costume. I was expecting this backpack to be larger in height. Not strong too small for a lap top computer or fit iPad comfortably. My reason there are two sizes. I paid £30plus for larger bag. This is not what I call large. I will keep this item it is next size up to my shoulder handbag. Smart bag Ideally suited for mature women, suitable for work daily use. My first backpack. I would highly recommend if like me you want to put your handbag contents in it. I wanted to be hands free. Take care if choosing your first backpack, There are medium and larger sizes, the standard double zipped suitable for students. The one I have purchased suits my needs, same use as a handbag, this design is perfect, because it opens at the top with a drawstring to keep contents safe and the flap to keep rain out. I tried using a double zipped students style backpack. I found the double zipped college, or school bag design, I could not get my all my handbag stuff after closing using the zips to pull around the bag. To open the zipped backpack, my makeup bag resting on top of the contents, it fell towards me as I brought the zip further down. The double zipped design with openings at the front or anti theft zipped at back with holding straps not suitable for my handbag contents. I was not put off, A little research and realised this type is more suitable for me. I call it my bag pack that opens at top either with or without drawstring a smart mature backpack. I’m so happy to use this bag, I prefer this type to carrying a bag by hand or having to slip bag over my head to rest on my shoulder. I used today and feel free. This is for hands free to use my umbrella or my mobile. The straps pulled to fit comfortably over my winter Parker coat. There are many smart backpack bags and colours to choose from. Please choose sizing carefully. I looked at image rather than checked the read up. I highly recommend this seller.- delivery was really quick - in fact 2 days- the bag is a lovely shade of light brown and is quite soft- the straps are adjustable so you can get it just right & comfy for you- there are 2 zipped compartments inside the main part with pockets for your phone & perhaps a bus pass- magnetic fastener to the hold the top of the bag shut together with a draw cord & a magnetic fastener to the bit which folds over...there is NO ZIP to the main compartment- 2 outside pockets & a zipped back pocket too- now I like my bags and this one is really nice; not too big to be awkward on your back but big enuff to get all the things you need...it wouldnt fit a normal sized PC (laptop) but would an IPAD- I am really made up with it but if you didnt like it there is a free return & it is guaranteed for a year too...whats not too like- I've given it 4 stars are there is no zip to the main part but otherwise perfectColour matches product image. It is a good size, just about fits A4 size notebook, but notebook will fold when you tie the top. Bugs me that the front clip doesn't always stay closed. Number of times I got home having had it at my back to find if had been open the whole time. Luckily no one walking behind me dipped hand into bag to steal anything. Would have been so easy to do without getting noticed. You have to tie note with two strings to make sure it stays closed! Also it's soft all over, unlike other similar bags that might have a bit of something harder in the bottom to keep shape. A bit disappointed but keeping it till I can find a good one next time I walk into a shop! For now, it's doing the job.Material is very nice, bag is very spacious. It has many pockets so it's easy to organise if you have some small stuff with you to carry. Unfortunately after a bit over 4 months of use it's already broken :(Little update: Vaschy team is extremely helpful and dedicated and so after mailing them, I've got my backpack replaced within few days!I used to have a similar style bag and just wanted something big and sturdy and basic. This bag doesn't have the biggest inner size. It wouldn't hold anything heavy inside without opening itself up, so no laptops or heavy books. Aside from that it is amazing! It has a million and one pockets, it is a good size and comfortable on the back. If you want a nice fauz leather back pack for day to day, this is it.
